Pitch at the Palace - Finals

Our CTO Lewis Oaten reports before his presentation at the Pitch at the Palace finals:

It feels like yesterday that I was pitching at the Manchester bootcamp for Pitch at Palace, but the finals are here and today RazorSecure will be pitching at St James Palace.

We are one of 12 companies selected by the Duke of York and a panel of industry experts to present for 3 minutes. During my presentation I’ll be discussing work that we have done with a leading UK train operator, how RazorSecure Delta uses machine learning to protect trains and how we are growing rapidly.

The finals themselves are at St James Palace, and as the Duke of York says “palaces are designed to me intimidating”. We have been working with our mentors at Wayra and Alex Potter (our elevator) to practice the pitch in advance, and I was amazed at some of the ways that other entrepreneurs deal with stage fright.

The networking at the previous Pitch at Palace events has been excellent for us, and we have developed some new relationships with companies as a result.

If you are lucky enough to have an invite, please look out for me tonight at the Palace. I will be carrying a London tube train, a key part of my pitch!
