We're excited to announce our partnership with Mitsubishi Electric Corporation, Mitsubishi Electric Europe B.V, and EKE Electronics Ltd, the global providers of signalling and rail systems, to tackle the growing challenges of cyber security in rail. The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed during the 18th UK-Japan Rail Working Group, hosted by the Department for Transport, in London on 11th of December 2024, and will see us deliver integrated solutions for securing digital rail operations globally.

As rail systems evolve and become more interconnected, the importance of robust cyber security continues to grow. By combining our expertise in rail-specific cyber security with Mitsubishi Electric Corporation’s leadership of signalling and rail systems and EKE-Electronic’s extensive knowledge in rail systems, this partnership is designed to address these challenges by integrating our areas of expertise. As customer demand for cyber security solutions increases, driven by the implementation of both national and international standards, this partnership is crucial to provide an integrated security solution for the most critical rail systems.

Key Areas of Collaboration

We’ll focus on three key areas: integrating products, developing joint services, and expanding market reach to help secure rail systems worldwide

Product Integration

RazorSecure’s product portfolio includes;

All of which will be integrated with Mitsubishi Electric Corporation and EKE-Electronic’s rail systems to deliver solutions that will continue to enhance rail safety, reliability, and compliance.

Joint Service Development

We’ll work together to develop expanded service offerings, including managed Security Operations Centres (SOCs). As part of this, we’re supporting the integration of Echo, our asset management platform, with SOC platforms, enabling real-time monitoring and response capabilities for rail operators.

Market Access

By combining our strengths, we plan to expand our presence in key markets such as Japan, the USA, Asia and other European markets to bring our cyber security solutions to a wider audience and support the increasing demand for secure rail operations globally.

Looking Ahead for long term partnership

This partnership is about bringing together our collective expertise to address the growing challenges of rail cyber security. As rail systems become increasingly connected, the risks increase but so do the opportunities to collaborate to create improved cyber security solutions that focus specifically on protecting the rail environment.
