Innovations across the airline passenger experience industry have been recognized at the first-ever combined awards ceremony celebrating the achievements of both APEX and IFSA members.
Competing within the category for Best Inflight Connectivity Innovation, this sought after category had some fierce competition, with the likes of Latécoère and Air France’s LiFi, JetBlue’s Fly-Fi and IFPL’s Bluetooth jack all in the running. Professionals from both APEX and IFSA determined the top three finalists in each category and a separate panel of esteemed media voted on the winners.
The award was made possible by merging technologies from VT Miltope, RazorSecure and Galgus to develop wireless cabin networks that keep up with ever evolving cyber threats. Using machine learning, the software based solution detects anomalies in network behavior patterns and becomes smarter with every iteration.
This is a great achievement and proof that the combination of VT Miltope, Razorsecure and Galgus delivers the best and more secure quality of experience for passengers on board airplanes
Jose Ayub Gonzalez Garrido, CEO, Galgus
As more connected aircraft come online, security like this is going to become essential in keeping passengers and airlines protected.
